Soldering tips, grouped by the machine they fit.

A replacement tip is defined by its platform first and its geometry second. These six families cover 12 machine platforms and 400+ published geometries — all turned, ground, plated and inspected in our own plant in Dongguan.

How to find your tip

Start with the iron, not the part number.

Definition: a soldering tip product family is a group of geometries that share a heater interface — the shank, the seating length and the way heat is delivered. Within a family, the geometry (chisel, conical, bevel, blade, thermode or nozzle) decides how the joint is wetted.

Most buyers arrive with a broken tip in one hand and a machine model in the other. Sorting by platform means you can answer “will it fit?” before you answer “which shape?”. That is the order we use throughout this site, and the order our quotation team follows.

If you already know the part number, send it to us. If you only know the iron, send a photograph of the socket. Either is enough to identify the family and shortlist the geometries with their published dimensions.

Six families

One factory, four soldering processes.

Hand soldering, high-frequency and robotic stations, hot-bar bonding and selective wave soldering. Each family is tooled on the same turning, grinding and plating line.

900M and T18 hand soldering tips in conical, chisel and bevel shapes

01 / Hand soldering

Hand soldering tips

Conical, chisel, bevel and knife geometries for through-hole pins, SMD rework and touch-up. The largest family, covering the irons most often still in service on European repair benches.

High-frequency soldering tips with ceramic heater sleeves for 911G and 910 stations

02 / High-frequency

High-frequency tips

Integrated heater tips with fast recovery for stations that see short, repeated cycles. Blade and wide-chisel faces dominate here because the joint usually has more thermal mass.

Robotic soldering cartridges and automatic machine tips with long shafts

03 / Robotic & cartridge

Robotic & cartridge tips

Long-shaft cartridges for automatic soldering machines, where concentricity and repeatable seating determine solder-joint height from one cycle to the next. Shanks are ground to ±0.05 mm.

Hot-bar thermodes with V and U shaped bonding faces for FPC and connector soldering

04 / Hot-bar

Hot-bar thermodes

V, U, T, DK and grooved faces, lapped flat for even pressure. Used to bond FPC and enamelled wire in one pulse, without a pre-tinning station. Most thermodes are made to drawing.

Selective wave soldering nozzles in conical and slotted shapes

05 / Wave solder

Selective solder nozzles

Conical, point and slot nozzles for selective wave soldering machines. The orifice edge is lapped after grinding because its condition sets the shape of the solder column.

Independent replacement tips for WSP80 and WP80 soldering irons

WSP80-compatible tips

Independent replacement tips for WSP80, WP80 and LHT irons, ground to the published shank dimensions. Model names describe compatibility only; these are not original manufacturer parts.

What we publish, and what we are still measuring

Dimensions before adjectives.

Available now for every geometry

Each geometry has a drawing with A (overall length), B (shank diameter), C (working-face width) and D (reach or bend offset), plus a ±0.05 mm shank tolerance and a drawing revision. A batch dimension report, a solder-wetting result and the plating build-up are issued with the goods.

  • 400+ geometries across 12 platforms
  • Minimum order 20 pieces per geometry
  • Custom samples in five working days
  • Stocked items dispatched within 48 hours

Six families, one editorial rule

All six families now have their own page, and every range has series pages with geometry tables, seat data and compatibility notes — from 900M and UNIX to V/U thermodes and point nozzles. We do not put an estimated dimension on a drawing, and we do not publish a plating thickness we have not measured.

Until a model page exists, send the part number or a photograph of the socket and we will reply with the drawing, the tolerance and the plating specification for that geometry. For a joint that has no standard geometry yet, we grind one to your drawing.

Questions we are asked

Ordering and compatibility.

How are XANJO soldering tips grouped?

By the machine platform the tip fits, not by our internal part numbering. There are six families — hand soldering, high-frequency, robotic and cartridge, hot-bar thermodes, selective wave solder nozzles and WSP80-compatible tips — covering 12 platforms and 400+ published geometries.

Can I get the dimensions for a specific model?

Yes. Send the model number or a photograph of the iron socket and we will reply with the A/B/C/D dimension drawing, the ±0.05 mm shank tolerance and the plating build-up for that geometry. All six families now have family pages, with series pages for the ranges that are tooled and measured.

Are XANJO tips original manufacturer parts?

No. XANJO makes independent replacement parts. Model names such as WSP80, 900M, 911G and UNIX describe which machine a tip fits and should be read as “compatible with”. XANJO is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any original equipment manufacturer.

What is the minimum order and sample lead time?

The minimum order is 20 pieces per geometry. Custom profiles are ground on the production line with samples in five working days. Stocked items are dispatched within 48 hours.

Send the model. We’ll send the drawing.

A part number, an iron model or a photograph of the socket is enough. We reply with the family, the geometry shortlist and the published dimensions within one working day.
