About XANJO · company profile
We make the tips. All of them.
XANJO Precision Technology Co., Ltd. is a soldering-tip manufacturer in Dongguan, China. Turning, profile grinding, iron and nickel plating, and final inspection happen on one site — so the dimensions we publish are the dimensions we cut.

Who we are
One name, one factory, one set of dimensions.
We are a manufacturer, not a trading company. Copper bar stock arrives at one end of the plant; finished, dimension-checked tips leave the other. No finished goods are bought in, re-labelled and shipped out. That distinction is the reason we can answer a question about fit without first calling a supplier.
It is also the reason we publish dimensions. When a customer asks whether a 1.2 mm chisel will clear a 0.8 mm pad, the answer comes from the drawing we ground it to — not from a catalogue somebody else wrote. Our application guide starts from the joint for the same reason.
We use one brand name, one address, one email and one phone number across this site, our quotations and our shipping documents. It makes us easier to find, easier to audit and easier to recommend.
What changes when the factory answers
Three things a trading desk cannot do.
Publish the dimensions
Every geometry has an A/B/C/D dimension set from our own grinding programme. Shanks are held to ±0.05 mm. A reseller can copy a photograph; it cannot copy a measurement it never took.
Control the plating
The iron layer is what molten tin slowly dissolves, so its thickness decides tip life. We run our own iron and nickel plating line and control the layer by measured thickness rather than by bath time.
Grind a shape that does not exist
A non-standard joint needs a non-standard profile. We turn and grind custom geometries on the production line, with samples in 5 working days and a minimum order of 20 pieces.
Inside the plant
Four processes, one roof.
Barrel, iron core, plated layer and final geometry are all made and checked here. The photographs below were taken on the floor, not staged in a studio.
Turning & grinding
Copper bar stock is turned to the shank, then the working profile is ground on CNC centres. Geometry is cut, never pressed or cast.
Iron & nickel
Our own electroplating line builds the nickel barrier and the iron working layer. Thickness is measured per batch, not inferred from time in the bath.
Dimension & solder test
Every batch is checked against its drawing and solder-tested before packing. A dimension report ships with the goods.
Counting & dispatch
Tips are counted into trays, labelled by geometry and packed for export. Stocked items are dispatched within 48 hours.

Quality & compliance
What we declare, and what we do not.
European supplier reviews check declarations, not adjectives. The table below states exactly what applies to a bare soldering tip.
Inspection is part of the process, not a final gesture
Each batch is measured against its own drawing and solder-tested before it is packed. The report lists the geometry, the measured shank and working-face dimensions, and the plating build-up for that batch. It travels with the goods so a receiving inspection has something to compare against.
For OEM and own-brand orders, the same report is issued under the customer's part number. Packaging, labelling and documentation can be matched to your incoming-goods procedure.
- Dimensional check against the issued A/B/C/D drawing
- Solder wetting test on every production batch
- Plating thickness recorded per batch
- Traceable batch number on the packing label
Declarations for the EU market
| Item | Status | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| In-house QMS | Quality system | A documented quality management system governs the manufacture of soldering tools and consumables; certificates and test reports are supplied on request. |
| RoHS 3 (EU) 2015/863 | Declared per batch | Material declaration for the restricted substances list, issued with the shipment documentation. |
| REACH SVHC | Declared per batch | Substances of very high concern are declared for the materials and plating used in that batch. |
| CE marking | Not applicable | Bare soldering tips are passive consumables outside the scope of the Machinery, Low Voltage and EMC directives. We do not mark them CE. |
| OEM trademarks | Independent parts | Model names describe compatibility only, written as “for Weller WSP80” or “WSP80-compatible”. |
| Documentation pack | On request | Tell us what your supplier review requires before ordering and we will confirm which certificates, reports and declarations can be supplied. |
Background
Two decades of making one component.
We keep the story short and the dates separable: the factory predates the company that exports its output.
| When | What changed | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| 2000 | The soldering-tip plant associated with the Xiangjiang group begins production in Hunan. | Copper forming, grinding and plating have been the same trade for more than two decades. |
| 2000s | Tips are exported under the XANJO name to Japan, Germany and other demanding markets. | Japanese and German OEM lines set the dimensional and cosmetic standard the plant still works to. |
| 2018 | The Dongguan operation is registered as a separate sales and export entity. | One legal entity, one set of export documents, one point of contact for overseas buyers. |
| 2025–2026 | Robotic cartridges, hot-bar thermodes and selective wave solder nozzles become a larger share of enquiries. | The product mix shifts toward engineered, made-to-drawing parts rather than only standard hand tips. |

Tell us the iron. We’ll name the tip.
Send the model number, or a photo of the iron socket. We identify the geometry and reply within one working day.
