WSP80 and WP80 tips: the standard range.
The WSP80 / WP80 interface is a push fit into a spring sleeve. The range covers the shapes a service bench actually uses: conical for fine work, chisel for general pads, bevel for drag soldering and screwdriver for connector rows.

What it is
A small interface with tight tolerances.
The WSP80 sleeve holds the tip by spring pressure, so the shank diameter is the whole fit. Too large and the tip will not enter; too small and it will not be held square. We turn the shank, check it against a gauge and keep the tolerance at ±0.05 mm.
The geometry range is deliberately conventional. Most buyers want the same four shapes they have always used, in a tip that seats correctly and lasts. Custom shapes are ground to order when the joint needs one.
Published geometries
WSP80 codes, faces and typical joints.
Face width is quoted as the class for that code. The exact A/B/C/D dimensions for a specific part number are issued with the quotation, not estimated on the page.
| Code | Face | Working width | Typical joint |
|---|---|---|---|
| WSP80-B | Conical | 0.5 mm class | Fine pads and pins |
| WSP80-I | Conical, fine | 0.2 mm class | 0.4 mm pitch rework |
| WSP80-D | Chisel | 2.4 mm class | General pads and lugs |
| WSP80-C | Bevel | 2 mm class | Drag soldering |
| WSP80-K | Screwdriver | 3 mm class | Connector rows |
| WSP80-LI | Bent conical | 0.5 mm class | Low clearance |
Codes are listed by face family. Variants with a different width, bend or reach are ground to order; send the drawing or the joint photograph and we will confirm the code.
Compatibility
What it fits — and what to check.
| Machine or holder | Interface | Note |
|---|---|---|
| WSP80 iron | spring sleeve | Direct fit |
| WP80 iron | spring sleeve | Confirm length |
| LHT iron | different shank | Use LHT series |
Model names describe the machine a part fits. XANJO replacement parts are independent parts, not original equipment manufacturer parts.
Dimensions
Four numbers define the part.
A is the overall length from the seat to the working face. B is the shank or body diameter. C is the width of the working face. D is the reach from the seat reference to the face — the number that decides whether the part can touch the joint without the housing fouling the board.
We hold ±0.05 mm on the shank and seat, and we issue the drawing revision with every batch. If a dimension is not measured, it does not go on the drawing: that is why some codes are marked “drawing on request” rather than filled with an estimate.

Questions we are asked
WSP80 fitting and ordering.
What is the difference between WSP80 and WP80?
They share the same push-fit sleeve pattern but differ in the handle and the heater. A tip that fits one usually fits the other, but the length and the shoulder position still have to be confirmed.
Why does my tip wobble?
Usually because the shank is undersize or the spring sleeve is worn. Measure the shank and inspect the sleeve; a worn sleeve will not hold a correctly sized tip.
Can I get a shape that is not listed?
Yes, custom profiles are ground to order with a five-day sample.
Are these OEM parts?
No. XANJO replacement tips are independent parts.

If this is not your machine.
Send the part number. We’ll send the drawing.
A code, a machine model or a photograph of the holder is enough. We reply with the geometry, the A/B/C/D drawing and the specification within one working day.
