LHT tips: more metal, more heat, same seat.
LHT is the high-power end of the WSP family. The tips carry more metal and wider faces for lugs, ground planes and connector shells, on the same push-fit principle as the WSP80.

What it is
A wide face needs a body that can feed it.
A wide chisel is only useful if the body behind it can carry enough heat. LHT tips are heavier for that reason: the extra metal stores energy and feeds the face during the joint, instead of letting the face cool as soon as it touches a lug.
The seat is still a push fit, but the shank is larger and the insertion depth differs from the WSP80. A WSP80 tip will not fit an LHT iron, and an LHT tip will not fit a WSP80 sleeve. Confirm the iron before ordering.
Published geometries
LHT codes, faces and typical joints.
Face width is quoted as the class for that code. The exact A/B/C/D dimensions for a specific part number are issued with the quotation, not estimated on the page.
| Code | Face | Working width | Typical joint |
|---|---|---|---|
| LHT-B | Conical | 1 mm class | General pads |
| LHT-D | Chisel | 3.2 mm class | Lugs and shields |
| LHT-K | Screwdriver | 4 mm class | Connector rows |
| LHT-LI | Bent chisel | 2 mm class | Recessed joints |
| LHT-DV | Wide chisel | 6–8 mm class | Ground planes |
Codes are listed by face family. Variants with a different width, bend or reach are ground to order; send the drawing or the joint photograph and we will confirm the code.
Compatibility
What it fits — and what to check.
| Machine or holder | Interface | Note |
|---|---|---|
| WSP150 iron | LHT shank | Direct fit |
| WSP151 iron | LHT shank | Confirm length |
| WSP80 iron | smaller sleeve | Use WSP80 series |
Model names describe the machine a part fits. XANJO replacement parts are independent parts, not original equipment manufacturer parts.
Dimensions
Four numbers define the part.
A is the overall length from the seat to the working face. B is the shank or body diameter. C is the width of the working face. D is the reach from the seat reference to the face — the number that decides whether the part can touch the joint without the housing fouling the board.
We hold ±0.05 mm on the shank and seat, and we issue the drawing revision with every batch. If a dimension is not measured, it does not go on the drawing: that is why some codes are marked “drawing on request” rather than filled with an estimate.

Questions we are asked
LHT fitting and ordering.
Will an LHT tip fit a WSP80 iron?
No. The LHT shank is larger and the insertion depth differs. Use the WSP80 series for a WSP80 or WP80 iron.
What is an LHT tip used for?
Lugs, ground planes, connector shells and other joints with enough thermal mass to cool a small tip. The wide chisel faces are the reason the series exists.
Can you make a custom LHT face?
Yes, to drawing or sample. The shank is standard; the face is ground to order.
Are these OEM parts?
No. XANJO replacement tips are independent parts.

If this is not your machine.
Send the part number. We’ll send the drawing.
A code, a machine model or a photograph of the holder is enough. We reply with the geometry, the A/B/C/D drawing and the specification within one working day.
